Project Management

Modern businesses encompass a plethora of applications that can be viewed as smaller or larger-scale projects. Moreover, many of the company’s products are, themselves, projects that need to be studied, executed as planned, checked during execution and prior to delivery, and achieve the targets set in terms of time, cost and quality. Unfortunately, international experience proves that a great number of projects are either abandoned before completion or fail to meet the objectives set and Management expectations.

In Modern Project Management, any kind of activity where human labour, materials, technology and information are put together to attain a complete and set target result, once and for a long period of time (one-off) is considered a project.

AQS Ltd. has significant experience in project administration – management, as well as, in providing support both during implementation and control of quality characteristics, and throughout various project phases. We also have experience in the administration, management and implementation of projects in the fields of Quality – Productivity Improvement and Development, both in the private and the public sector.

Our approach views Project Management as a specific Process, i.e., a sequence of specific actions that, with the use of certain resources, will lead to a specific and desired result.

This specific approach combines a great number of international and recognised tools such as Pareto analysis, CPM & Pert methods, Balanced ScoreCard, Risk Analysis, Change Management, Cost & Benefit Analysis, Root Cause & Effect Analysis, Gantt Charts, Quality Control Plans and Action Plans, etc. Furthermore, this approach is connected to international standards such as ISO 10005 & ISO 10006, and to the innovative Six Sigma method (see figure below).

Our aim is to ensure systematic and controlled Project management, in order to achieve the following:

  •  Delivery of the Project within the agreed timetable,
  •  Project implementation within budget limits,
  •  Attainment of the Project quality characteristics set out in the Quality Plan

From the birth of the idea to its completion, each project, goes through the following four phases:

  •  Definition Phase,
  •  Planning Phase,
  •  Implementation, Control & Measurement Phase and
  •  Implementation, Control & Evaluation Phase and
  •  Outcome Dissemination - Learning Phase.
