The Common Assessment Framework is a model of Total Quality Management (based on the European Quality Standard, EFQM), and the result of cooperation of the European Union ministers of Public Administration.
CAF was designed to be used in all aspects of the public sector and for application in public organizations on a national, federal, regional and local level.
